After previously having an office in Medan, in 2022 to be precise 31 October 2022 PT MUTI expanded it's business by moving it's head office to Jakarta. Apart from being the main distributor for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) - Adblue® with brand Luft Blue. PT. What is Luft Blue?

Luft Blue is a brand for AdBlue® Diesel-Engined Exhaust Fluid (DEF) from Indonesia. Luft Blue works with the vehicle’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems to convert Nitrogen oxides emission into nature-friendly nitrogen and water. LuftBlue are made in Indonesia and already VDA certified.

How it works ?

Luft Blue converts Nitrogen Oxides into nitrogen and water with synthetic urea. It directly injected into the exhaust gas where it serves as reducing agent. The released ammonia subsequently reacts with the nitrogen oxides on the catalyst to form elementary nitrogen and water, both are natural constituents of the air we breathe. Hence, the amount of nitrogen oxides in the emission can be reduced.

How Much Consumption ?

The average consumption of Luft Blue depend of the type of vehicles that you are driving, e.g. heavy truck, the journey type and level of use will also have an impact on how hard the engine needs to work and therefore on how much Luft Blue will be consumed. In general, you can expect the average consumptions to be: +/- 3% – 5% of the fuel consumption and 1 Liters of fuel for 2 -3 km mileage

Is Luft Blue Dangerous ?

Luft Blue is not dangerous if used and stored according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable regulations. Luft lue is a water-based solution containing urea, which is non-toxic and not dangerous if applied and stored correctly. If Luft Blue comes into contact with skin or eyes, it can cause pain or irritation. Therefore, it is important to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves and protective eyewear when handling Luft Blue and to rinse with clean water if Luft Blue comes into contact with skin or eyes.

Is Luft Blue Flammabe ?

Luft Blue is not a flammable substance. LUuft Blue is a water-based solution containing urea, which is not easily flammable and has a high ignition point. Luft Blue can be safely used in diesel vehicle exhaust systems without the risk of combustion. However, Luft Blue must be stored and applied correctly according to the manufacturer’s specifications and applicable regulations to avoid the risk of damage to the vehicle’s exhaust system or other damage.
